Chairmans Challenge 2012-2013 "a.k.a. Challenge 12-13 "

To offer a challenge to all Top Dead Centre MCC members, our chairman Joe Gault, having seen similar events elsewhere came up with a photo point event that runs for the club year from one AGM until the next

This takes the form of 24 locations (12 in Ireland and 12 in Scotland) which participants are to attempt to visit. The locations are selected each year based on member’s suggestions.

They are chosen to enable easy access to local points of interest in your area on a day ride out and although on a tight schedule, a rider from Ireland should be able to complete all twelve Scottish points on a two-day trip or be able to make it to any one point and back on a Stena line day trip if they prefer. Likewise, a mainland rider could bag all twelve Ireland locations on a busy weekend or visit at least any one of the Irish points on a Stena line day trip to Ireland.

To prove you have visited a location you must provide a photo showing

1. The location

2. Yourself

3. Your bike

4. And one other item that is chosen each year to prove it is not an older photo.

(This year we have designed a disc which you will receive upon registration.)

Patches are awarded as follows at the end of each year.

a) If you have visited all 12 locations in Ireland you get a gold Ireland patch
